The UBA is dedicated to the empowerment of Black communities through unification, collective action and community engagement. We believe that every Black community should have the tools and resources necessary to thrive.
Our mission revolves around building strong and prosperous Black communities that are self-reliant and able to effectively represent themselves. We work to develop and nurture passionate and capable leaders to spearhead initiatives that create positive impact in the African American community.
When our villages are able to hone their collective strength and appoint leaders from within the community with the skills and means to organize, inspire, and mobilize each other, that village now becomes a powerful force for change.
At UBA we are committed to working towards expanding the social, political and economic influence of the Black community, leadership development and supporting initiatives that have strong and positive impact on black families.
